چکیده

A bstract The structure of the Heisenberg evolution operators plays a key role in explaining diverse processes quantum many-body systems. In this paper, we discuss new universal feature operator evolution: an can develop void during its evolution, where nontrivial parts become separated by region identity operators. Such are present both integrable and chaotic systems, required unitarity. We show that formation has important implications for unitarity entanglement growth generation mutual information multipartite entanglement. study explicitly probability distributions number unitary circuit models, conjecture system distribution is given one find random circuits, which refer to as distribution. also circuits lead same pattern multiple intervals (1 + 1)-dimensional holographic CFTs after global quench, be used argue leads maximal growth.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Void formation during film growth: A molecular dynamics simulation study

Two-dimensional, nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulations have been applied to study the structure of thin films grown on single-crystal Lennard-Jones substrates. The principal microstructural features to develop within these films are single vacancies and small voids which tend to be slightly elongated and to be aligned in the growth direction. Both the void volume and the mean surface ro...

Response to “Shear Impossibility—Comments on ‘Void Growth by Dislocation Emission’ and ‘Void Growth in Metals’”

We thank the authors of Ref. [1] for their comments and interest in our work [2–6]. We agree that the emission of shear loops on one single shear plane cannot lead to void growth. However, our simulations suggest that coordinated shear on non-parallel planes can lead to void growth/shrinkage [3–5]. Detailed descriptions of this process are still being worked out and represent an exciting area f...

A Model of Void Formation

We introduce a simple model for the formation of voids. In this model the underdensity of galaxies in voids is the product of two factors. The first arises from a gravitational expansion of the negative density perturbation. The second is due to biasing: galaxies are less likely to form in an underdense region. One feature of the model is an upper cutoff in void sizes. We calculate the volume f...

Shear impossibility: Comments on “Void growth by dislocation emission” and “Void growth in metals: Atomistic calculations”

Recently it was proposed that voids in crystals could grow by emission of shear dislocation loops [V.A. Lubarda, M.S. Scheider, D.H. Kalantar, B.A. Remington, M.A. Meyers, Acta Materialia 52 (2004) 1397–1408]. Even more recently, this proposal was ostensibly supported by molecular simulations of voids in strained single crystals [S. Traiviratana, E.M. Bringa, D.J. Benson, M.A. Meyers, Acta Mate...
